Our Race
Throughout my journey, friendship and work with Our Race team, I delivered multiple workshops to stakeholders on Our Race's Transformational Ethical Story Telling T.E.S.T. framework of ethical storytelling practices. The highlight of those engagements was moderating the panel discussion for the event: Who Gets to Tell the Story? -featuring The Subject Documentary.
Key-Note Speaker
I was invited by the Muslim Legal Network and Activate Youth a to deliver the Keynote speech for the inaugural Dismantling Islamophobia and Racism (DIR) workshop held in collaboration with Wyndham Community and Education Centre (WCEC) and Wyndham City Council (WCC). At the event, I joined the panel discussion on “How to identify Islamophobia” alongside the President of the Muslim Legal Network and the President of Muslim Health Practitioners Australia.
Australia Indonesia Institute
2023, Invited by Mosaic Connections to participate in Australia-Indonesia Muslim Exchange Program (AIMEP) (the flagship program of the Australia Indonesia Institute of Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade) to meet the Australia-ASEAN Muslim Exchange Program (AAMEP) delegates from Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Brunei to share and discuss and the issues facing the Muslim communities in Australia.

The Centre for Resilient and Inclusive Societies (CRIS)
2021-2022. Associate member at the The Centre for Resilient and Inclusive Societies (CRIS). Attended and participated in CRIS Challenging Racism and Enhancing Social Belonging research stream’s meeting as an Associate Member. CRIS is an independent think-tank involving university and civil society partners, led by Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation (ADI) and hosted by Deakin University.
Challenging Racism Project (CRP)
2018-2022. Associate Member of the Challenging Racism Project (CRP), Western Sydney University. Attended CRP meetings, seminars, networking events and contributed to consultations and discussions on CRP projects, advocacy campaigns, strategies and publications.
Australian Association of Islamic & Muslim Studies AAIMs
2021- present. After being a member since the establishment of the association in 2017, I have served as a General Executive Member of AAIMs since October 2021. I collaborate with the executive board members to decide AAIM’s directions, online presence, annual events, seminars, workshops, and biannual conference, including chairing events.
